Critics have been saying…
“… well planned, seamlessly executed…”
“… what a successful conference… Congrats to the 2nd year cohort!”
“Two thumbs up!”
We got rave reviews for our conference!
And our cohort, who went through one wild whirlwind of a weekend together, came out of it with sunshine and rainbows (literally).
And our department chair described me as “a lad whose moniker and hair dye are way rad” (in a poem he wrote to close the conference and thank the organizers).
And the Super Bowl Halftime Show was great, and I stopped by home this evening to wish my family a happy Lunar New Year.
So all in all, it’s been a great weekend. And now I want to sleep for twelve hours.
Word of the Day: braw, which is a Scots word via French (brave), is slang for “great” or “awesome”. Anything or anyone can be described as “braw”, and when it is, you know the speaker has strong positive feelings for it. In particular, it can be used when a person’s got on an attractive outfit — or maybe a group of people with color-coordinated pants, yeh?
